Abolition and the American Founding

The Wall Street Journal article below is a very balanced piece on our current condition, slavery, and the American Founding. It shows the cultural divide that exist ed then and now. Some, like Brian Stelter on CNN, want us to believe there is no cultural divide, no historic divide, no divide on the righteousness of our founding. But, there is, in reality, a huge cultural divide and it has existed for decades, building in power to this moment.

This divide and cultural disagreement was not created by Donald Trump. His election was the first statement of wait leftists, you are going too far. That shocked the left. Up to that point they had run opposition free and set the debate language, in a misleading and in some cases inaccurate manner, for the rest of the country to accept & submit.
