Media & Democrats distort coronavirus readiness – then say they are not
< < Go Back
The Democrats & the media have been full tilt using the Coronavirus situation to attack President Trump. This is clear and present on a hourly basis every day. The media hype has caused everyone to be in fear about the ‘zombie’ nature of this virus. No perspective. No facts. Flat out falsehoods. Just hyping the worst case scenarios. Blaming every aspect of the worst case on Donald Trump. Then, when they are called on it, they get angry and defensive.
Chuck Todd had Mike Pence on Meet the Press Sunday and Pence brought up the Democrats & the media using this crisis against Trump. Todd got defensive, indignant and asked Pence to ‘name names’, so Pence did. Then Todd dismissed it and changed the subject.
As Pence toll Chuck Todd; Let’s Call It Trumpvirus. If you’re feeling awful, you know who to blame.
Here are a few more examples:
- HELDMAN (Democrat Strategist): I actually think this is a very good opening for Democrats.
- Trump’s Katrina. The Washington Post speculated that the coronavirus could be “Trump’s Katrina,” referring to Hurricane Katrina, the response to which they say had been bungled by President George W. Bush.
- Tom Steyer doubles down on this talking point.
– Hugh Hewitt puts this accusation in realistic perspective. - Trump shuts down flights from China – declared racist by media and Dems.
- CNN ran a story warning that “the US coronavirus travel ban could backfire” and have the effect of “stigmatizing countries and ethnicities.”
- Trump cut funding for CDC. Not true. The CDC’s programming budget increased from $7.2 billion in 2019 to nearly $7.7 billion this year, the Associated Press fact-checking unit reported.
- When Trump announced a coronavirus task force with the most eminent experts in the nation, CNN blasted him for a “lack of diversity.”
- Biden slams Trump response to coronavirus epidemic: This is no time for “fearmongering”
- Trump just called the coronavirus a ‘hoax.’” When Trump pointed out that he had said no such thing, which the footage of his remarks confirms, the Daily News claimed yesterday he had “backed away from his claim that the coronavirus is a ‘hoax.’” This is Twitter-level disinformation.
Folks, there is no question about the Democrat & media strategy. Gaslighting this (telling you what you see is not really happening) is a regular media tactic. They did it, after breathlessly hyping the Mueller investigation, when it turned up nothing. To add confusion and cover their tracks, they will accuse others of gaslighting, as Todd did with VP Pence. Look for it. They will continue the tactic.
