What the media ignores

It is well understood that the media covers only the stories that are consistent with its narratives, and censors others.

  • Police brutality or attacks on unarmed black citizens gets unlimited play. Black on black, black on white attacks or inner city crime (Chicago), get no play.
  • Trump in large athletic auditoriums are filled with screaming fans of the President for one of his rallies, not worthy to be shown. Too positive for Trump. We are only provided selected soundbites which can be manipulated to attack Trump and further a media narrative of Trump hatred.

Just to name a couple. Nothing unusual. Happens multiple times a day across the media landscape. Some incidents are obvious, most are subtle and hard to notice.

Like this one.

Trump Greeted by Boos, Chants of ‘Lock Him Up’ at World Series Game 5. Played ad nauseam on mainstream media outlets. An example of how Trump is hated in this country.

From a front page search on YouTube, nothing but Trump getting booed, posted by various news organizations.

Then this weekend.

Trump Greeted with Huge Ovation at Alabama Game. A local CBS affiliate put it on YouTube as did the University of Alabama. CNN had a preview attack piece on Trump’s plan to visit the game. That is all that was on the first page on YouTube. CBS did not show it during the game!

Why? Shouldn’t equal time and political fairness dictate a token play? Of course not. Against the 90% negative on Trump media narrative. Geez, the remaining 10% could still cover it. And obviously, a few right leaning groups did, so that the censorship could not be absolute, i.e., the way China and other communist countries censor information to the public.

Vary your news sources folks. So you don’t have to rely on only media censored information.
