The Left Is After Our Children’s Textbooks

Did you hear about liberals trying to erase heroic from our textbooks’ accounts of The Alamo at the Texas State Board of Education?

Sadly, that was just the tip of the iceberg. Actually, the tip of the spear. A thrust of liberal contempt for Texas values straight into our children’s minds – through their schoolbooks.

Actually, they attacked far more than Travis, Bowie, Crockett and the Alamo defenders. They came after the Founding fathers, the Constitution … even Moses.

Consider that for a second. Sometimes, these attacks become so relentless that we lose sight of how outrageous they truly are. These folks who insist that its wrong to call heroic the Texans who stared death in the face for days on end, then endured the sword for the sake of liberty.

These are people who firmly believe that just mentioning Moses, the role of religion in our nation’s founding, or even the term Judeo-Christian violates the “separation of church and state.” That the Constitution is an instrument of oppression and exploitation. That religious liberty is the enemy. That most of what we can America’s heritage is not only wrong, but must be erased.
