Russia wants to shut down energy producers who compete with its oil and gas exports.
It’s using social media and funding environmental groups to do it.
CFACT launched our latest billboard campaign with a winking Vladimir Putin and the message: “Russia funneled Green groups millions of dollars to oppose & cripple American energy. How’s that for COLLUSION?”
The report reveals Russian funding of Green groups and money laundering, and cites intelligence reports that uncover “clear evidence that the Kremlin is financing and choreographing anti-fracking propaganda in the United States.”
The report includes examples of anti-energy “memes” Russian operatives posted to Social media. I posted a couple of examples below.
