HR 1/S 1/ S.2093 - For The People Act
HR 1-“For the People Act” Update 6/21/21: Number of Senate bill changed from S 1 to S.2093. Two years ago when Nancy Pelosi tried to ram through H.R. 1, a bill designed to rig the election system in favor of Democratic politicians by undermining America’s electoral process? Well, she’s at it again. H.R. 1—a bill dubiously titled the “For the People Act”—contains many provisions that are unhelpful, unnecessary, and unconstitutional: Gives taxpayer dollars to politicians to fund their reelection campaigns via a 6-to-1 matching program for small donations. Allows candidates to be paid a second salary out of their campaign funds…those same campaign funds that would now be funded with taxpayer dollars. Sabotages state voter ID laws by not requiring individuals to show identification. Mandates same-day registration that immediately requires states to register a person to vote upon request. Unconstitutionally requires states to restore the ability of felons to vote… even if those felons are convicted of voter fraud. Requires ballots be counted outside of the voter’s precinct, removing the integrity of the local government to verify voter rolls and oversee elections. Pelosi is planning a vote on H.R. 1 the 1st week of March.

HR 1 - the most destructive bill ever presented in the US Congress

Translation: LABOR - PEACE - FREEDOM - EQUALITY - BROTHERHOOD.

HR1; "For the People" - - HA! -- For the Politicians. Typically, when you see a title for a new bill, if it is overly sweet and value signalling you can tell you should read closely. For the People, The Equality Act, Affordable Care Act, none of these bill titles are close to what the name says or the bill represents. They are actually the opposite of what the name says. This is simply a sales technique. It is a rouse to shield you from the truth of what is taking place. This by itself may be the most destructive piece of legislation ever enacted by the US Congress. HR 1 will destroy election integrity in America.  It clearly states the desire & tactics, long known by the Democrat Socialists, to control future elections in the US. Once this law were enacted, we would become a one party socialist, eventually a Communist, state. Think that is a gross over reaction. It is not. It is actually easy to see in many respects. But, lets just reveal the destruction via the provisions of HR1 itself.

Translation: "We will chose the most worthy". Not sure what the $90 represents.

H.R. 1 would:
  • federalize and micromanage the election process administered by the states
  • impose unnecessary, unwise, and unconstitutional mandates on the states
  • reverse the decentralization of the American election process (which is essential to the protection of our liberty and freedom)
  • implement nationwide the worst changes in election rules that occurred during the 2020 election
    • impact states ability to qualify, determine eligibility and insure accuracy of voter rolls by adding automatic registration
    • Automatic registration would register large numbers of ineligible voters, including aliens, and cause multiple or duplicate registrations of the same individuals and put federal agencies in charge of determining a person’s domicile for voting purposes
    • eliminate signature verification
    • not require an ID to vote.  (I can show up and vote as you, no problem, anywhere in the country and probably multiple places at once)
    • eliminate registration requirements (early voting, automatic voter registration, same-day registration, online voter registration).
    • on line voter registration would open up massive voter registration fraud by hackers and cyber criminals
    • extend election day indefinitely
    • expand mail-in voting (no fault absentee voting)
  • be a criminal offense for a local official to reject a registration for any reason
  • allow 16-year-olds and 17-year-olds to register (there should be no one who doesn't realize how destructive this item would be)
  • require states to count ballots cast by voters outside of their assigned precincts
  • require states to allow ballot harvesting
  • substantially limit the public release of voter registration information, making it almost impossible for nonpartisan organizations to verify the accuracy of registration rolls
  • add a provision criminalizing “hindering, interfering, or preventing” anyone from registering or voting, which is so vague and so broad that it could prevent providing any information to election officials about the ineligibility of an individual, such as an applicant not being a U.S. citizen.
  • expand regulation and government censorship of campaigns and political activity and speech, including online and policy-related speech.
  • reduce the number of Federal Election Commission members from six to five, allowing the political party with three commission seats to control the commission
  • eliminate the ability of the residents of specific states to make their own decisions about what rules should govern their state government officials.
  • require states to restore the ability of felons to vote the moment they are out of prison regardless of uncompleted parole, probation, or restitution requirements. The 14th amendment grants that right to states now. This one item attempts to override the Constitution of the USA!
  • transfer the right to draw congressional districts from state legislatures to “independent” commissions
  • permit the IRS to investigate and consider the political and policy positions of nonprofit organizations before granting tax-exempt status (Obama got caught trying to do this in 2011. Remember Lois Lerner?)
  • prohibit the filing of any lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of H.R. 1 anywhere except in the District Court for the District of Columbia ... and more
  • defines “democratic institutions” as those that are “essential to ensuring an independent judiciary, free and fair elections and the rule of law.” The commission would be given the authority to compel judges to testify and justify their legal decisions, threatening their independent judgment and subjecting them to political pressure and harassment.(Do you realize what this one is doing? It creates in this one line the ability of a federal government (bureaucrat) the ability to pressure, and threaten judicial oversight unless the federal government officials (not the Constitution) agrees with that judges decisions. What countries does this sound like?!)
These are not exaggerations, it is what the bill says and means.   It is not the first time the left has tried to control our elections.  This same bill was introduced in 2019 by Pelosi and never discussed by the Senate. That check and balance is not there anymore. And, in 1984, liberal lion Ted Kennedy, who not only allegedly sent secret messages to the Soviets in the midst of the cold war, he also begged them to intervene in a U.S. presidential election in order to unseat President Ronald Reagan. That’s no exaggeration. According to Soviet documents unearthed in the early 1990’s, Kennedy literally asked the Soviets, avowed enemies of the U.S., to intervene on behalf of the Democrat party in the 1984 elections.  So, it is easy to see that what the radical Socialists will try to do is unlimited. And Trump was supposedly the Russian traitor! What you will hear in defense of this bill is that it will eliminate voter suppression by the GOP so every vote can be counted. That is technically true, because HR 1 will allow anyone in the world to be able to vote in a US election going forward. And, the counting of said ballots will be controlled somewhere, by someone in the vast Federal bureaucracy, with no oversight at all! Is that what you expect from elections in the USA? Is that what you expect from elections in the USA? But, the way the message of GOP voter restrictions and suppression is presented & intended, it is untrue. If Donald Trump had said this the media would call it a lie, so let's use the media example of journalism, and call these assertions what they are, lies. The GOP wants the states to control elections, not the federal government. The GOP wants every American citizen to vote. The GOP wants every legal vote to count. The GOP wants 'ballot harvesting' to be illegal. The GOP wants the only mail-in balloting to be absentee ballots, which required identification. The GOP wants politicians out of the process of counting and collecting votes. Of course, not. But ask yourself who would want it this way? Fight this bill with every ounce of your being! It means the future of the country and the freedoms you have always take for granted. Decentralized, state controlled elections have saved this country and are needed to keep it safe!
