Trump’s school vaccination policies could be a serious political liability
Donald Trump and his campaign are at odds over what he believes about school vaccination policies. The former president has frequently said he will cut off federal funding for any school that mandates vaccinations. His campaign said in March that the policy would apply only to mandatory coronavirus vaccinations, but Trump has repeatedly declaimed against vaccine mandates without mentioning covid. “I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or a mask mandate,” he said at a May rally. He said it again this month.
