Democrats
In 2020, Democrat Joe Biden & Kamala Harris captured the Presidency and Vice Presidency in a hotly debated result fraught with voter fraud allegations. The Democrats won back the Senate (50-50) with 2 victories in runoff elections in Georgia in January. With both Houses of Congress and the Presidency, the Democrat agenda is ready to be unleashed on the populace beginning inauguration day, January 20, 2021. During the previous decade, the Democrat Party lost the House in 2010, Senate in the 2014 mid-term elections and President Obama's effectiveness ratings continued to decline. In 2016 they lost the Presidency to Republican Donald Trump. Democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, failed to retain the White House with a similar coalition of young people, women and minority voters that swept Barack Obama into office in 2008. Yet the coalition did not show up in the force needed. The Democrat candidate won the popular vote in reliably blue states (California, Washington, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, etc) as a result of overwhelming majorities in major coastal metropolitan areas like LA, SF, Seattle, NYC, Boston, Washington DC). They failed miserably in the heartland and in other blue states in the rust belt (Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin) and lost a total of 30 states giving a landslide electoral college victory to the Republican candidate. The Democrats have lost over 1,000 seats at the national, state and local levels nationwide in the past 7 years. In 2018 Democrats took back the House over negative reactions to Donald Trump & the Russian Investigation hovering over the political landscape.

Political Narratives Collide with Reality

from The Gray Area:
9/17/22:

This week Gov DeSantis of Florida ramped up the political rhetoric regarding border security and illegal immigrants when he sent a group of migrants to Martha's Vineyard, home of the elite liberal, far left, political class. All hell broke out. Political narratives must be served. Just before this hit the news, a question was asked of KJP, Biden's press secretary, to which she responded with ......

Ted Cruz tweets:

Apparently there is no prepared answer for a question based on reality. Then the Martha's Vineyard news hits. The net, net is, the people of the southern border states, Arizona, New Mexico, & Texas have been telling Washington for 2 years now we have a crisis at the border and the Biden Administration and the media ignore it. Why, they are red states and the leftist leaders don't care. If open borders cause problems in those states, fine. By placing the problem on the steps of non-border blue states and DC, they cannot ignore the problem anymore. Is this the same Democrat & media reaction to a crisis being fixed in 2017 by Donald Trump? No, that was a crisis narrative invented for political purposes. The Washington Post runs a headline, A migrant landed on Martha’s Vineyard. A resident jumped in to help. They show the picture of a little girl looking bewildered. The narrative pic designed to tug at the heartstrings and avoid the reality that she is in this position because Congress, largely Democrats will not pass legislation to fix the immigration issue and they will not enforce the current immigration system. The right wing then tweets showing a Martha's vineyard resident panicked because they cannot support these people. Welcome to the reality of border towns in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Sounds similar to Chicago's reaction to receiving migrants.

So which is it? Is it a political stunt by DeSantis? Yes, it is. Was Biden forgiving college debt a political stunt, yes! The reality is they are both political stunts. And finally, the anti-DeSantis political narrative gets a boost. Local Florida Democrats look to DOJ to start an investigation the Governor for his funding of these migrant flights.

It is all about the political stunts and narrative(s). Our news today has nothing to do with reality. This latest stunt, however, does shine a little light on the reality of the issue of border security. immigration, the open borders objective of the Biden administration that generated this crisis and the failed leadership to do something about it. They are hurting American and migrant families with this disastrous strategy and do nothing leadership.
