Weekly report on US Gas and Oil production prepared by the US Energy Information Administration.

There may not be a more clear cut example than this of why we are in the economic mess we are right now

Last week, President Biden gave a speech about improving the horrible energy crisis and cost of gasoline in this country. In his speech he offered 4 points: 1. suspend the federal gas tax for the next 90 days. 2. calling on states to either suspend the state gas tax as well or find other ways to deliver some relief. 3. calling on the industry to refine more oil into gasoline 4. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you are paying for the product. Do it now. Do it today. Your customers, the American people, they need relief now. Each of these is laughable on its own and will have no impact on the price of gasoline.

But, it is #4 that is the most telling. Let me restate it again; gas station owners should bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you are paying for the product.. Has there ever been a statement so void of understanding of not only energy costs and pricing, but of our entire economic system in general? I say no, ther has not. In this statement is the most clear cut example of why we are in the economic mess we are right now. The President and his advisers have no idea what they are doing economically. He wants as station owners, to actually take a loss on the product they deliver to the public. Take the price they carge down to the cost of the product they buy. How incredibly stupid! These are not millionaires, just local business people trying to make a living, and he wants them to take a loss for him. And, taken with the other three, it gets worse. The President believes he can just tell people what to do. He is calling on states to cut taxes and calling on the oil industry to refine more oil, as if they are not refining oil on purpose. It is his policies that make refining oil difficult and expensive. But, that's not all, it gets worse. Who is it that likes this move? The Chinese. Yes, really. Chen Weihua, Chinese state affiliated media, tweeted this: Now US President realized that capitalism is all about exploitation. So Marxist thinking believes this is an enlightened move by Biden. Andy question who is running Biden's economic policy - yes, Marxists. We are in deep trouble. P.S., our mainstream, legacy media, had no extensive coverage of this point. They only covered the federal gas tax cut, and that they lauded as a positive step. Censorship designed to cover up the Marxist economic plan. Remember what Obama said in 2008. We want to 'fundamentally change this country' and 'redistribute its wealth'. Scared yet? You should be.
