A new DEA report graphically illustrates the criminal groups that control various territories in America, and one is by far the most dominant.
Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, kingpin of the Sinaloa cartel and now a fugitive after having escaped from prison in July, runs a sprawling empire that controls most of the illicit drug trade in the United States.
The conclusions were released by the DEA as part of an unclassified report meant to illustrate the influence of Mexican cartels in North America.
