Michelle Obama has found herself embroiled in an emails scandal of her own…

As the investigation of Hillary Clinton and her private email scandal is winding down, it’s just been discovered that Michelle Obama may have been involved in an email scandal of her own.

The American Medical Association (AMA) released an obesity study last year that revealed that rates have actually changed less than they did in the previous decade. Rather than processing that information, Michelle’s reps decided to claim that obesity in children between ages 2 and 5 fell from 13.9% to 8.4%.

Newly released emails show the White House pressuring the CDC and the Department of Health and Human Services to focus on this stat and virtually ignored the rest.

“Well our press release is skewed to highlight the good news per HHS request,” Karen Hunter, the senior press officer of the CDC wrote. “This release will have a first lady quote and they are mainly wanting to focus on the decline…during the current administration.”

“I am thrilled at the progress we’ve made over the last few years in obesity rates among our youngest Americans,” Michelle said in her statement. “With the participation of kids, parents, and communities in Let’s Move! These last four years, healthier habits are beginning to become the new norm.”
