‘Justice or Else’ March Speaker Leads Chant of ‘Down, Down USA’

Thousands flocked to Washington’s National Mall on Saturday to mark the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March.
The event called “Justice or Else!” focused on justice for minorities and was organized by the march’s original founder, 82-year-old Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
Some speakers made controversial statements, including one woman who led a chant of “Down, Down USA!”,
and a Nation of Islam member who referred to police as the “Blue Klux Klan.”
Rev. Jeremiah Wright–the ex-pastor to President Obama who once preached “God damn America!”–also spoke.
Wright said “Jesus was a Palestinian” and alluded to Israel’s “apartheid wall” while comparing “the youth in Ferguson and the youth in Palestine.”
