VICTORY! Judge Grants Preliminary Injunction to Insight for Living Ministries

Today, the United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas granted Insight for Living Ministries’ request for preliminary injunctive relief in its lawsuit against the HHS Abortion Pill Mandate.

Insight for Living Ministries (“IFLM”) is the Bible-teaching ministry of Pastor Charles R. Swindoll, former President and current Chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary, and Founder and Senior Pastor-Teacher at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. IFLM is seeking relief from the HHS Abortion Pill Mandate and the crippling fines that follow.

This means that the international Bible-teaching ministry will not have to comply with the mandate nor pay a $100.00 per day PER EMPLOYEE fine, while the case makes its way through the federal court system.

Last month, IFLM joined other Christian non-profits, schools, and organizations that are challenging the Abortion Pill Mandate. The Abortion Pill Mandate requires that IFLM formally and materially cooperate in the dispensation of abortion-inducing drugs and devices that have the intent, design, effect, or risk of terminating unborn life or preventing its implantation and growth post-conception.
