Romney Joins The Resistance

Mitt Romney, with his Op-Ed in The Washington Post on News Year’s Day, officially joined the Resistance to President Trump.

Once a bright light for serious, kind and thoughtful leadership, he now takes the role of bitter, confused member of the ‘swamp’.

He knew, by calling out Trump, and choosing WaPo for his article, he would get welcomed attention from the left-wing, mainstream media, and he has, being all over the channel the past couple of days.

However, he has falsely believed by attacking Trump and giving in to the left, he can bring the country together. That is not the correct strategy for unity. Since the strategy of the left is to dictate policy and demand submission, his is the correct strategy for capitulation to the left, not unity at the center.

Sadly, Mr. Romney, if you hope to lead from the Senate, or ever hope to run for President again, you have just lost the support of Trump voters. And, while you may think you will now get Democrat votes, once you align against their candidate, they and their media allies, will turn on you as they did in 2012.
