All the stories based around the premise that the magazine confiscation law would’ve affected the California attacker should be retracted. This is incredibly misleading. BuzzFeed

California has had a ban on the sale of magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds since 2000. The shooter would have been 10-years-old then. It’s is also illegal to bring those magazines in to California from out of state. There is no way he obtained that mag legally.
