Trump Hosts Rally in Indiana

President campaigns for Mike Braun, who won state’s GOP Senate primary on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump on Thursday campaigned in Indiana against Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly, considered among the most vulnerable incumbent Senate Democrats this year.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Elkhart, Ind., Mr. Trump labeled Mr. Donnelly “Sleepin’ Joe” and praised Mike Braun, Mr. Donnelly’s Republican opponent and a former state legislator who won Indiana’s Republican Senate primary on Tuesday, defeating Reps. Todd Rokita and Luke Messer.

“We need Mike Braun in the Senate,” Mr. Trump said, and warned against Democrats regaining control of the chamber.
