Columbus Day now Indigenous Peoples Day?

As noted in USA Today, a growing number of cities are abandoning ship and replacing Columbus Day … with Indigenous Peoples Day, also known by some as Native Americans Day.

Not a surprise that you find these crazy people in LA, Berkeley, Burbank, Seattle, Minneapolis, Bangor, Maine and Austin Texas, either.

Not that there is anything wrong with “Indigenous People’s Day” or “Native American’s Day”. As the Italo-Americans of Southern California said, “we want to celebrate with you,” … “We just don’t want it to be at the expense of Columbus Day.

But that is not good enough. The objective is not to recognize Native Americans, it is to assault Christopher Columbus and his record of bringing civilization and European culture to North America. To the radical left, America is an unjust and undeserving country and this is just another way the left wants to visually and symbolically make this known.

We can’t argue, because, of course, we know, that their heroes Castro, Chavez, Guevera, Mao and Lenin were all pure saints.

Here are a few reasons to celebrate Columbus day.
