Media Hated Partisan Obstruction to Obama in 2009

We’re now in President Trump’s fourth full week in office, and several of his Cabinet nominees still haven’t been confirmed by the Senate. According to the Heritage Foundation, no president since George Washington has waited so long to have his Cabinet in place.

Democrats are doing everything they can to slow the process down, and the media seem to be cheering them on.

The Media Research Center’s Geoff Dickens took a look back to 2009, to compare the media’s response to partisan obstructionism during the beginning of Obama’s term with the practical media silence we’re seeing on Democrat obstruction today.

ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN all threw fits over GOP obstruction of Obama’s Cabinet picks in 2009. But, what happened eight years ago pales in comparison to current efforts to obstruct President Trump.
