Voter Registration
Getting voters registered and to the polls on election day are critical to success during any election. In recent years complaints have been raised against both major political parties regarding inappropriate and even fraudulent registration and poll activities. The hottest registration issue revolves around voter ID. The left says it is discriminatory and depresses minority turnout. They attack those who dare to support voter ID laws as “anti-voting rights activists and voter fraud hucksters”. The right says we need to verify that each voter is legal and besides it is nonsense not to have to show an ID in this country to vote ... we do it for much less critical activities (such as, cash a check, drive a car, board an airplane, buy medicine, visit a doctor, get government assistance, etc). So, what is the real issue? Voter registration got a lot of attention during the 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 & 2018 election season. We expect it will get a lot of attention before and during the 2020 election season.

... Never Miss An Opportunity...

Never miss an opportunity to use a tragedy or even a national holiday to push a preferred narrative. A take off on the famous quote, but, Martin Luther King Jr Day is not a crisis, but apparently a good enough opportunity. Supporters of federalizing national elections marched in DC today on MLK day emphasizing 'voting rights'. MLK's family no less. While they were emphasizing 'voting rights', they were not supporting voting rights, but instead making voting the responsibility of the federal bureaucracy. If you think having the federal bureaucracy in charge of elections will insure 'voting rights', as the saying goes, I have some beachfront property in Iowa to sell you. In addition, they want to eliminate the filibuster to inflict this atrocity on the America people. They are not interested in narrative truth either.  That states are restricting voting is a lie! A false narrative. Not interested in tyrannical methods to attain their ends, like ending the filibuster by fiat and then a simple congressional majority to push through a bill that a majority of Americans do not want. Not thinking about the impact of their actions beyond getting what they want, now. Sounds like children, doesn't it. But, yet, as Rahm Emanuel said, 'never let a good crisis go to waste'..
