2019 Politics
2019 begins a year of Democrat control of the House of Representatives after their success during the midterm elections of November, 2018. The Democrats have stated they plan to be a check on Trump, and to be an investigative body hoping for impeachment, or at a minimum, such a distraction as to make Trump's last two years ineffective. 2019 could be more drama than 2017 & 18.

Mueller vs Horowitz- Let's Compare

12/11/19
from The Gray Area:
12/11/19:

On the surface, the headlines surrounding the Horowitz Report mirrors those of the Mueller report earlier in the year. For those hoping for dramatic revelations and even indictments, all were disappointed.

'No bias' is the Horowitz headline and 'no collusion' was the Mueller headline. Democrats hoping to get Trump with Mueller, disappointed. Republicans wanting to expose the FBI bias and deep state conspiracy targeting Trump, disappointed.

A deep dive, largely by Democrats and the media, into the details and the Congressional testimony of Robert Mueller offered nothing new in the Mueller report. The deep dive may even have damaged the political value for Democrats. The AG agreed, saying nothing here to pursue.

The Democrats and the media then accused AG William Barr of simply protecting his boss. If that is true then what they are saying is that all AG's are only there to protect their bosses, not the Constitution. Really? When you look back at Obama's AGs, Holder & Lynch, I guess you can see where the Dems are coming from. But, any review of William Barr reveals he is interested only in the Constitution and the law.

But, after the Attorney General's office response and today's congressional testimony of the Horowitz Report offer much different insight into the details of his report. A justified 'counterintelligence' investigation into Russian behavior in our elections, not Donald Trump. From that point forward, everything the FBI and intelligence personnel did was wrong!

Here is a summary of both.

Lets look at some outtakes from Horowitz testimony today:

Now don't expect to see any of this in the media. Somehow, for example, CNN managed to skip every Republican questioner in their coverage.

When you compare the two, the headlines match, but the details of each are different. There is no 'exoneration' in the Horowitz report. Durham hints he will have more to say about that.
