Our elections have always been the pride of this country. Free, fair and honest. A marvel to the world.

Now we appear to be just another banana republic. Unable to believe our own vote counts and when certified, to believe the approved results. The Democrats with the Russian hoax in 2016 (and beyond), the Republicans with voter fraud in 2020.

Nothing about the aftermath of last Tuesday's election results passes the "stink test". Voting is extended in some states, not in others. Those where voting is extended are primarily Democrat run states. Those who finished counting ballots of all types by election day were primarily Republican states. Some states require no postmark or signature. Some states defied there own state election laws to allow more days to receive mail-in votes. In Pennsylvania, a Trump 700,000 vote lead evaporates by Friday. Voting stops before election day is over in some states, then resume the next day. Observers are kept at a distance raising suspicions. Voting stops in some states after Biden takes the lead prompting suspicions that the objective was simply to manufacture enough votes (ballot harvesting) for Dems to win and then stop counting. Voting machines connected to the internet! Late mail in ballots were supposedly only for President, no other candidates. Whistleblower accounts. Blind woman told someone turned in her ballot for her. And on, and on, and on... Not to mention that when you look back on the 6 months leading up to the election, many messages were parroted by the media and Democrat operatives to set the stage for this fiasco. Because of COVID, we must offer mail in ballots for those afraid to go to the polls and vote. Mail in ballots are safe. Because of mail in ballots we must extend election day, days or weeks. Don't expect the election to be settled on election night, even if Trump is ahead by a lot. Will Trump leave the White House when he loses - wait what? When President Trump noticed all this and called it out, he was accused of undermining the election by simply pointing out that it appears someone is trying to undermine the election!

It makes sense that someone should take the lead to separate the 'specious', as AG William Barr referred to accounts of fraud that were not worthy of investigation, and those which are more substantive. To have that be the Department of Justice adds more weight to the final conclusions than some politically appointed czar as has been suggested. Democrats won't like it and will call it just political maneuver by Trump's AG. I guess they keep forgetting about AG Holder calling himself Obama's 'wing man'. With half the country happy with the 'media announced' Biden victory and the other half believing a Trump landslide victory has been wiped away by voter fraud, this question has to be settled now! Gore/Bush took 36 days after the election. States have until December 8th to certify results. Not a lot of time to run an investigation, but it must be done.
