A rare glimpse behind the curtain at one of the things really behind the $15 an hour minimum wage increase. It has nothing to do with supporting a family of four on minimum wage. It has nothing to do with how much a person is paid matching what they are worth? It ha nothing to do with people losing jobs. It has to do with killing business who don't pay what the government mandates. The socialist model of government control. Obviously there are many other things wrong with a minimum wage boost like this, impact on cost of child care etc. But, look at how progressives explain what's happening behind the Democrat curtain.,

JustTheNews reports that Republicans and moderate Democrats fear a uniform, nationwide increase could sink small businesses still struggling to recover from pandemic shutdowns.

California Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna said during a Sunday interview with CNN that while he broadly supports small businesses, those that cannot afford to pay their employees $15 an hour are essentially not worth preserving.

A February report from the Congressional Budget Office found that increasing the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour over the next few years would cost an estimated 1.4 million jobs, while raising 900,000 Americans above the poverty line.
