What Happened in Sweden?

2/19/17:

The left and their media propagandists have gone berserk this weekend over remarks Donald Trump made in Florida Friday regarding attacks in Sweden 'last night'. Even the Swedish government tweeted, “Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking?”.

What is all this fuss about Trump and a terrorist attack in Sweden?

Was there a terrorist attack in Sweden Thursday night? No.

There was a terrorist attack in Pakistan. The attack was in a shrine in the southern city of Sehwan. Did Trump just mispronounce the city's name? Apparently not.

His statement Friday night was this.

"We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden," Trump told the crowd at his campaign-like rally in Florida on Saturday, critiquing Europe's refugee policies and complaining that his travel ban had suffered setbacks in court. "Sweden, who would believe this?"

His explanation, President Donald Trump attributed his comment to a Fox News interview with a conservative filmmaker. He continued saying he misspoke when he said this took place 'last night'.

The FoxNews show the President referenced, Tucker Carlson Tonight, What the US could learn from Sweden’s refugee crisis, did take place and presented shocking statistics about the refugee problem in Sweden and associated violent crime increases.

If you read and listen to the President's statement, then watch the FoxNews segment, it is quite easy to see the point he was clumsily trying to make.

For 8 years we had a President who was very smooth with is speech and presentation of ideas. All while lying and contradicting himself regularly and not being called on it by the media. Now we have a President who is attempting to tell the truth, but doing it without precision or smooth delivery, and the media picks him apart. Seems the media prefers lies, smoothly presented.
